1989 - 97 Quality Manager
Reporting to CEO. Responsible for ISO9001 implementation (certificated 1993) and maintenance, TQM including introduction of computerised systems and ASME 'U stamp' control and certification for Pressure Vessels (from 3ft to 22ft dia), includes all liaison with regulatory/government authorities and registration of legal documents. Subordinates include Chief Inspector/Quality engineer/Auditor / NDT technicians / QC Inspectors and metallurgist. Negotiated introduction of New Technology with Trade Union officials. Recruitment and appointment of personnel, direct control 36 people. Increased output by targeted 400% whilst remaining within budget.

1978-79 Traction Site Manager Taiwan
Engaged on Railway Electrification Project responsible to UK for erection, commissioning, modification and initial service maintenance of a fleet of 20 Locomotives and 13 Electrical Multiple Units. Recruitment and appointment of local staff (total 20), control of a staff of 30 people.

1975-77 Commissioning/Site Engineer
Engaged as Commissioning, Service and then Site engineer for Tube Stock supplied to London Transport.
