To see more information click this link.

The white section is just like a page of paper, you can add words and pictures to make a document.

The cursor can be used to move the caret to a new position within the document by click of the mouse.

If the document is larger than the screen you can use the right scroll bar or the bottom scroll bar to view.

Above the document are buttons and the Menu. If you click on a menu item such as File then Print Preview the Preview window is shown. Buttons are for commands that we use regularly, clicking on Preview button on the ToolBar does the same job.

To get Help based on 'what you are doing' then press key F1, this is called context sensitive help. The Help window may be closed by clicking the X button in the top right corner or by selecting the Help window's File plus Exit menu option. Use the minimize button ( - ) in the top right corner, for faster loading if you are going to use this Help file a lot.

Refer to Document Stage Reference for basic information, then Main Menu overview or Program Overview for fuller details.

Text Functions

Located in Edit menu and Right click of pointing device.

Text can be selected by the usual 'Windows' method ie click and move pointing device or hold down shift key whilst pressing the right arrow, down arrow, end key etc. Once selected block text reacts to these menu functions or direct keystrokes (ie Delete key or Ctrl+X for cut, Ctrl+C for copy).

The above functions are also available via the 'Windows' standard keystrokes ie Ctrl+X for Cut, Ctrl+C for Copy, Ctrl+V for paste and Ctrl+A for select all.

The options in this section operate with the 'Windows Clipboard' facility, which also enables text export and import from any 'Windows' program with a similar facility, (ie 'Notepad' 'WordPad' and most other proper text/word processors).
